About Us

As a simulation engineer with extensive experience in explicit dynamics and material modeling, I created this resource to address a common challenge: finding reliable, high-quality material models tailored for simulations. Over years of work, I've gathered materials from research papers, forums, and personal experiments, aiming to build a database for simulation-ready Johnson and Cook models.

This collection provides over 150 material models optimized for software like Ansys Explicit Dynamics and LS-DYNA, with continual updates. Each model includes original source links when possible, giving due credit and offering deeper context. Explore the collection to find materials that integrate seamlessly into your projects, filling a long-standing gap in accessible resources for simulation engineers.
